My Story – A Purpose Awakened

Girl, in my early 30s, I was that woman who “had it all.” I was independent with a successful career and all the perks that come with it.
But, I wasn’t happy. I was working 90 hours a week. My home was a place to crash when I wasn’t traveling. I ate lunch at my desk most days and had no personal boundaries.
Before I knew it, I was in a state of crisis that had attacked my health physically and left me exhausted, anxious, overweight and depressed – culminating in a medical emergency that brought my whole life to a screeching halt! Talk about a wake-up call! That is where I began my journey to become the happiest I’ve ever been.
This experience had such a profound impact on me that I wanted to help other women by sharing my story and personal growth experience…my testimony. This purpose is what drove me to start coaching women on business and navigating life in between, starting with my fellow Latinas and women of color. In pursuit of this purpose, I founded Latina Boss Coach.
Passion & Career:
Griselda Beck is an executive with 15+ years of corporate experience and the owner and lead strategist of the Beck Consulting Group, including its division, Latina Boss Coach. She holds a B.S. Business Administration from the University of California Riverside (UCR) and earned her M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM at UCR), graduating with Summa Cum Laude Honors. She studied international business at the Institut National des Télécommunications (Télécom SudParis) in Evry, France and serves on the Board of Directors for MANA de North County San Diego.
Passion & Philanthropy:
My passion projects include teaching a monthly self-esteem and career development course at women’s shelters with an emphasis on establishing boundaries, healthy relationships, and consistent self-care.
I am also highly invested in the education and empowerment of young girls. My goal is to help them grow into confident and successful women, who are compassionate towards the human condition and believe in paying it forward. I try to live in a spirit of gratitude and seek to help others along the way whenever possible. In fulfilling this cause, I joined the Board of Directors for MANA de North County San Diego.
